Prada Reflection Glossy Liquid Balm — Worth the Splurge?

I stood in front of my mirror last week wondering if another lip gloss was really necessary. Then I tried the new Prada Reflection Glossy Liquid Balms, and the answer turned out to be yes.

Picked up three shades at Prada Beauty and Nordstrom to see if they were worth the splurge. They come in a sleek tube that mirrors the Prada Blurring Micro-Correcting Concealer packaging — same clean aesthetic, very satisfying to hold.

How They Feel

Ultra smooth, nonsticky, soft. Think of a balm in gloss form. There is a slight tingly sensation on the lips with some plumping effect, and they feel like a cushion rather than a coating.

The pigment varies by shade. Out of the three I picked, one is almost clear while the other two carry a nice tint.

Shade Breakdown

P255 Virtual Pink — ultra sheer pink. Almost clear on me, which makes it perfect over a lipliner or any Prada lipstick.

B258 Blushware — pretty peachy pink. My favorite of the three.

B201 Chocobot — soft brown. Another shade I genuinely love, especially for a low-key nude lip look.

The Verdict

These give your lips that effortless-but-luxe look without trying too hard. The feel is genuinely pleasant — no tugging, no stickiness, just smooth shine.

I can see myself reaching for B258 Blushware on mornings when I want something polished but minimal. And layering P255 over a deeper lip color adds just enough gloss without shifting the shade.
